Pretty in Pink Hi-Tea

The following pictures were taken from a recent event attended by weheartparties. It was a surprise hi-tea birthday party and all guests were told to dressed in pink. The theme of the party is "pretty-in-pink" hence the decor, balloons, placecards, cakes and part favors were of the same colour. Cat's Baby Shower @ The Loaf on 24.01.10

~we HEART parties~ had a blast planning, organizing and executing a Baby Shower held at the beautiful and cosy The Loaf, Pavilion last Sunday. 20 guests turned up to enjoy a selection of delicious hi-tea in a classy ambience and were appropriately dressed according to the shower's "Chic" theme.

Pink and Blue helium balloons decorated the seating area with a special "Baby Shower" balloon bought especially for the mommy-to-be. Each guests had their seats tagged with their names in colourful cards with a poem attached and a gift box with items made by hand by http://preciousmecares.blogspot.com ; all presented in a cute little transparent box tied with a printed baby   shower theme ribbon.

Cute flower shaped marshmellows decorated the table, alongside the scrumptious mini-cheese cake by The Loaf. Itinerary Cards were kept visible on the table to ensure that guests are well informed of the activities planned for the evening. Activties included "Message in a Baby Bottle" where guests could "deposit" valuable advise on motherhood and parenting, as well as well wishes and "Give mommy-to-be a Gift" session where everyone took turns presenting their gifts and explaianing the reason behind buying the gift.

No party is complete without a photography session, and mind you, they were all dolled up and looking beautiful (even more excuse to snap pictures, right)? Everyone had a blast catching up with long lost friends, chatting, gossiping and hanging out with the mommy-to-be before she goes into confinement! LOL!

To all the guests at Cat's baby shower, thank you for making the party a success with your presence. ~we HEART parties~ hoped that everyone had a great time, it was fun hanging out with all of you and we hope to see you soon!

Special shout out to mommy-to-be, Cat for giving us the oppurtunity to plan this shower. We had a blast and we hope you did too!
